The revolution of new ideas always comes up to the minds of every person, especially the idea to improve technology which people need to make the living better. As the result, modern technology has been bringing people certain advantages such as ways for fast communication. Nowadays, people can get latest news from any parts of the world very quickly, pay their bills, by using E-mail and Internet. lso, the internet can be seen in aiding the spread of culture, because all of the communication made possible by the internet. Moreover, telephone-local or/and oversea is playing a key role for people to communicate to with each other. Information Systems is the back bone of todays communication. The massive data and increasing volumes of data needs organized storing and fast and effective processing for variety of purposes fro m decision making to risk management, from transaction processing to stat e-the art products. The large-scale businesses are globally distributed across the world which needs stable and reliable infrastructure and network administration and the applications which can run and handle simultaneous, real time and fast processing. The availability of technology has enabled the businesses to offer variety of services which has made Information Technology as part of the businesses today. What seems to be a simple online banking transaction for instance, involves web-based programs which run on a one platform and access the data in another platform like mainframe and tho make there should e network communication and systems which can communicate to each other, available 24 by 7. The more businesses grow the more dependent they become of Information Systems Some make a clear distinction between information systems, ICT, and business processes. Information systems are distinct from information technology in that an information system is typically seen as having an ICT component. Inform ation systems are also different from business processes. Information systems help to control the performance of business processes [3].

Hazing Hazing is one of the fastest rising problems in America. "Hazing" has caused many deaths and psychological problems to its victims. Hazing humiliates, and degrades individuals. People have heard of hazing recently due to the deaths of many kids and teenagers. Hazing used to be thought of as harmless and was considered to be harmless pranks with college students in fraternities. Today, hazing is experienced by boys/men and girls/women in school groups, university organizations, athletic teams, the military, and other social and professional organizations. Hazing has grown to become a major social problem. Recent incidents have been documented in marching bands, religious cults, and other types of clubs. Reports of hazing activities in high schools are on the rise. Hazing is considered to be: physically abusive, hazardous, and/or sexually violating. While alcohol abuse is common in many types of hazing, there are other abusive techniques such as: yelling, swearing and insulting new members/rookies, forcing participants to wear embarrassing or humiliating attire in public, consumption of substances, physical beatings, binge drinking and drinking games, and sexual assault. Hazing is abused mostly at the University level. In the Alfred/NCAA survey of college athletes, hazing was defined as, "any activity expected of someone joining a group that humiliates, degrades, abuses or endangers, regardless of the person’s willingness to participate. This does not include activities such as rookies carrying the balls, team parties with community games, or going out with your teammates, unless an atmosphere of humiliation, degradation, abuse or danger arises." All acquisitions are taken care at the corporate level so that the divisions are not diverted from their core function of generating profit. †¢Potential target firms undergo an intense screening process. They have to be par with company’s existing performance criteria †¢They bring up acquired companies by developing them to become cost efficient through operational strategies and creating profits within a period of 18 months. Some are done with a period of 6 months of time. Newell also have strict control for the time the customers pay, this is within 30-45 days †¢Corporate tightly controls the finances, yet it allows brand and division president autonomy to guide the performance of the business. †¢Corporate office does a good job of seamless linking of its structure, system & processes (SSP) with its businesses and resources. †¢The company attaches great importance to customer relations frequently inviting buyers for plant visits. †¢The companies Newell acquires have potential but undervalued. These companies are suffering because they do not have major clients and there overhead costs are high. †¢Newell focused on good communication within the company and had numerous meetings throughout the year in order for leadership roles to remain informed about other aspects of the company. Division leaders convened several times a year for presidents’ meetings as well as the ability for regular encounters at trade shows throughout the year. †¢Other forms of communication were bracket meetings and the monthly collection of operating figures. Hence, the Good Neighbor phrase was coined as the Coolidge Administration was criticized for armed intervention in Latin America. The Hoover Administration’s policies were created to strengthen relations with Latin America; for instance the retraction of the Theodore Roosevelt’s Corollary to the 1823 Monroe Doctrine that stated only the U.S. could gather debts owned by foreigners to countries in the Western hemisphere.
